This bouquet of vintage florals is a classic jean-jacket style shacket. Selecting complementary prints and plains in my fabric stash is when the sparks start flying, and I wanted the paneling of a traditional jean jacket to make the most of these coordinating cloths. This lightweight shacket is easy fitting and casual, with two side pockets, two breast pockets, and two inside pockets. I hope you have as much fun wearing it as I had cutting and making it! - Lisa

Materials

• A selection of woven cottons from remnants (vintage, repurposed, natural)

• Cotton and linen blend pocket lining (new, natural)

• Plastic buttons from the family button stash (vintage)

Techniques

• Vintage fabrics washed and checked

• Designed, cut, and sewn in Dublin as a one-off

Use & Care

Washing is tough on clothing, so wash only when necessary. That being said, this jacket is machine washable! Please wash at 30°, on its own or with similar colours, and air dry. It can be ironed or steamed.
